Barrister and Solicitor


Clare Shrybman is a Toronto-based lawyer with a strong focus on family law, refugee law and public interest advocacy. She currently practices with private clients and accepts certificates through Legal Aid Ontario. Clare represents clients in complex family matters, refugee claims or on provincial or federal human rights claims. Clare is known for her compassionate, client-centered approach and her deep commitment to ensuring access to justice for marginalized and low-income individuals.

Clare also serves as a Panel Lawyer for the Ministry of the Attorney General. Her professional experience extends to working with government bodies and international institutions, including the Senate of Canada and the United Nations Human Rights Office, where she contributed to legal and policy analysis on human rights frameworks.

Clare holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Ottawa as well as a Masters of Law (LLM) in human rights law from Osgoode Hall. She is further a PhD Candidate at Osgoode Hall.
